Real Women/Real Sexy is a web series for women created by Angel Maynard that excludes the drama of typical reality shows featuring women. We demonstrate the importance of girlfriends and the camaraderie that can exist amongst women. This series is about Girl Power!
We focus on different ways to keep it sexy while keeping it real and have a lot of fun in the process!
Angel writes, produces, films (with a little help from some of the cast) directs and edits the show.
- Real Women/Real Sexy is a Micro-TV series created, directed, produced and hosted by Angel Maynard. This is a show that brings women together in an “around town in Atlanta” setting. Each episode is accompanied by a blog written by Angel with a specific topic of interest to women written in a humorous, but real life tone. Angel and her friends talk about what real women talk about in private and she invites the viewers to go along while they search out the best ways to keep it sexy while keeping it real.
Angel Maynard is a writer, producer, actor, mother, wife, daughter, sister and friend. Not all necessarily in that order depending on what day you ask her. Angel owns an independent production company; RedPill Productions.
Her work has been featured at The New York Television Festival and California’s IndieFest.
